CSS Service/Justice Coordinator Job Posting
MHDS Region County Social Services (CSS) has a job opening for a Full Time Service/Justice Coordinator position to work within the CSS North Service Area (Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Winneshiek, Howard, Chickasaw, Floyd and Mitchell Counties) who will be based out of the CSS Allamakee County office in Waukon, IA and the CSS Clayton County office in Elkader, IA.
The Service/Justice Coordinator (SC/JC) provides information and referral for resources and services to assist individuals who are transitioning from jail/prisons back into the community and/or coordinates resources and services for individuals who reside in the CSS MHDS Region. The SC/JC, under the direction of the North Service Area Supervisor intakes and enrolls CSS members in need of assistance. The SC/JC works to generate positive outcomes for the individual and community. The SC/JC will be present, welcoming, purposeful, productive and competent in delivering service and justice coordination services to enrolled individuals.
Job Qualifications include: A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a human services-related or administrative-related field, including but not limited to social work, psychology, nursing, or public or business administration from an accredited college or university. Two (2) years of experience working with individuals involved in the justice system, with mental health/chronic mental illness, intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities, and/or brain injuries.
